What is the Story Behind Springfree Trampolines?

Dr Keith Alexander - Founder

Springfree Trampoline is a brand of trampolines that was founded in 2003 by Dr. Keith Vivian Alexander, a New Zealand engineer who was concerned about the safety of traditional trampolines. Traditional trampolines have a metal frame and metal springs that can cause injury if someone falls or lands on them. Dr. Alexander set out to design a trampoline that was safer and more durable.

After years of research and development, Dr. Alexander invented the Springfree Trampoline, which has a unique design that eliminates the need for metal springs.

Instead, the Springfree Trampoline uses flexible composite rods that are positioned below the jumping surface and are designed to absorb energy and provide a more even bounce.

Safety Features

In addition to its unique design, Springfree Trampolines also have a number of safety features, such as -

a soft-edge mat that eliminates hard edges and pinch points, and
a FlexiNet enclosure that is designed to prevent falls and provide a safe jumping area.

Springfree Trampolines quickly became popular in New Zealand and Australia, and the company eventually expanded to North America and Europe. Today, Springfree Trampolines are sold in over 30 countries worldwide and are recognized as one of the safest and most innovative trampolines on the market.
